Saturday, 13th October is the closing date for the normal registrations – after that, you will have to pay a penalty when registering

1. Hi there to anyone who hasn’t contacted me who wants to in the choir on the Pilgrimage. Please drop me an email, so I can make plans. Let me know your level of ability (can you read chant/hold a part in polyphony, etc) and your preferred days to sing at mass (if you want to sing at Mass on, eg, Fri and Sun but not Sat, etc). Be aware that if you’re singing at Mass, then from Morning Tea until Mass, or most of that time anyway, you’ll be off the road and at choir practice for that Mass on the relevant day. hughdhenry at gmail dot com.

2. And a big Hi too to all who are planning to sing with us, whether they’ve contacted me or not. Only four weeks to go! What are you doing now to prepare for singing on the Pilgrimage? Why, you’re using every spare moment to familiarise yourself with the music, aren’t you? Hands up who has a State Flag or Vatican Flag or Church banner or Devotional banners?!?!

We would love to see them on Pilgrimage so don’t forget to pack them!

We also need the State Flags for the Solemn Mass of Christ the King, so contact your state rep and make your flag known!

PILGRIM BUS FROM BENDIGO TO MELBOURNE AIRPORT

This Private Pilgrim Coach/Bus will be available on Monday, 29th October, following on from Monday breakfast at the National Motel.

Please note there is a typo in the Information Booklet in the physical mail out. The correct dates for Pilgrimage are as below:

Thursday night, 25th October 2012 – Registration and overnight accommodation

Friday, 26th October 2012 – Day One

Saturday, 27th October 2012 – Day Two

Sunday, 28th October 2012 – Day Three

Please note the following venue changes for 2012:

• Private parking for the entire Pilgrimage at Bendigo – now on WATTLE STREET ACROSS FROM SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL, BENDIGO. As a result the shuttle bus to Ballarat will be leaving SACRED HEART CATHEDRAL promptly at 9:00pm on Thursday 25th October 2012.
• Thursday night accommodation and registrations, like last year, will be held at ST PATRICK’S COLLEGE, 1431 STURT STREET, BALLARAT. It was approximately 2kms west of St Patrick‟s Cathedral. We ask that you please do not arrive before 5pm as to not disturb the staff and students during after school activities. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
